AIU is part of a global organization that writes property, casualty, marine, life and financial services insurance in approximately 120 countries and jurisdictions and is engaged in a range of financial services business. We sell to individuals, businesses, agents and through brokers. Internally we have set up divisions to meet the needs of these different groups.
Accident & Health
The International Accident and Health Division (A&H) is a part of the international property-casualty operation of AIG. We are responsible for the development, promotion, and marketing of all of AIGs accident and health products for both life and non-life segments of our business.

Commercial Lines
The Commercial Lines Division of AIU offers insurance products and services to businesses in all parts of the world outside the U.S. and Canada. Our customers range from small shops and services to the very largest multinational company with scores of locations. We use a global perspective to underwrite business locally, with professionals who know the market.

AIU Energy and AIG Oil Rig, of AIG's Global Energy Division, bring vast expertise and experience, highly specialized resources, and significant capacity to meeting specific market segment insurance needs.
Personal Lines
AIU Personal Lines Division offers products and coverage to over 3.5 million customers in 57 countries around the world. Our products are distributed through various distribution channels including Brokers, Agents, Banks, Financial Institutions, and Direct Marketing.
